Job Description
As a Managing Director, Channel Executive/Head of Consumer Originations, you will be responsible for leading the strategy, execution, and performance results for the Consumer Home Lending (Loan Acquisition) channel. Success in this position will require effective communication, collaboration, and full transparency with peers, the Home Lending leadership team, as well as across the JPMorgan Chase organization.
This position reports to the Home Lending Head of Production and represents a significant leadership opportunity within the JPMorgan Chase organization.
Job Responsibilities:
- This high-impact role entails leading a large and distributed sales team and partnering directly with Operations, Marketing, and all other stakeholders to meet the needs of customers and deliver results that contribute value for JPMorgan Chase.
- The leader will identify and capitalize on strategic business opportunities, execute specific OKRs, and plan and develop capabilities, products, and programs to drive new mortgage originations for both new and existing clients.
- This high visibility and high impact role will be instrumental in developing and executing the strategic roadmap for the Consumer Originations business model, both now and in the future.
- The role carries end-to-end accountability for the Consumer Originations channel.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Extensive knowledge of the mortgage industry, market environment, and regulatory landscape.
- 15+ years of proven general management and leadership experience, with expertise in strategy, project management, communications, sales, and overall business management
- Extensive experience navigating Chase products and large-scale sales organizations with direct P&L oversight, as well as knowledge of and relationships within sales leadership organizations across CCB and product/technology leadership.
- Expert understanding of key financial, risk management, and customer experience drivers associated with managing a geographically dispersed salesforce and will have P&L responsibility for the end-to-end mortgage product from origination through fulfillment.
- Highly focused on the customer, with track record of improving the customer experience.
- Demonstrated ability to build and sustain profitable businesses in a highly competitive and regulated environment.
- Strategic thinker with a passion for creativity and innovation, but also a willingness to focus on details and processes.
- Proven leadership and influencing skills to build great teams, attract top talent and collaborate across a highly matrixed team.
- Proven ability to promote a strong control environment by adhering to risk/control expectations, procedures, and processes.
- The ideal candidate should be a seasoned culture carrier and people leader with a proven track record of building high-performing, highly engaged, and diverse teams.
- Bachelor's degree required
