Job Description
As HMI software engineer, you would develop Android based automotive cockpit applications for our client.Development of automotive cockpit UI application with Android
Enable high responsiveness between UI specification/style guide development/changes and UI module delivery
Ensure timely delivery of tasks according to product back log
Ensure good quality of delivery
Minimum 3 to 8 years of experience in software programming – Application Design and Implementation
Good Understanding of AOSP architecture and concepts
Experience in Android application development, preferably with Automotive Android OS
Experience in UI implementation
Experience in infotainment display / instrument cluster projects is a plus
Experience in agile software development process (SCRUM)Skills
Proficient in Java, Android SDK, JNI, C++, JSON, Sqlite, RESTful APIs
Knowledge in developing UIs (Widgets, business logic, etc.)
Knowledge in usage of Kotlin
Familiar with Android HAL and HIDL - Audio, Graphics, Camera, Sensors, Automotive etc.
Proficient with developing Unit Tests and SW functional tests for own code
Practical knowledge of JIRA, Confluence
Knowledge about CAN protocol is a plus
Automotive domain knowledge is a plus
Good communication and team player skills
Qualifications
B.Tech/M.Tech./MS/MCA
