Commercial Director, Hepatology

This role will allow you to drive GSK’s position in Hepatology, portfolio growth and directly shape and lead a winning team.
As a Sales & Marketing Combined Director, you will build, lead, coach and develop a high performing sales and marketing team. You will also be responsible to establish strategic and operating priorities and plans for key launch products to optimize revenue. The ideal candidate will be based in GSK Mississauga Head Office.

Your Responsibilities:
- Direct and drive commercial launch strategies and deliver optimal sales and growth for strategic products
- Create a strong leadership culture and ensure high level of collaboration within the Hepatology cross functional team
- Attract, recruit and retain high-caliber team.
- Lead, coach and develop the sales and marketing teams to create a strong, positive, and success-oriented culture
- Achieve and drive to exceed the business unit targets and goals products
- Ensure appropriate allocation & utilization of budget/resources to ensure budget efficiency, in line with company policy.
- Meet the high need for cross-functional influence and collaboration internally across divisions to deliver results
- Collaborate with Commercial Excellence and Medical to define effective channel mix
Why you?
Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 10 years of commercial experience, with sales and marketing leadership in specialty pharma
- Experience with turnaround challenges and performance delivery
- Brand Management leadership experience including product launch
- Effective communication and presentations skills
Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
- Experience working in Hepatology
- MBA
- Demonstrated record in achieving results through others and developing team capabilities
- Experience forecasting launch assets
- Leadership capabilities to influence a group through managing change
- Bilingual (English/French)
