Head of Technology, AI-Driven Media Buying Platform
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Technology to lead the development and implementation of our proprietary AI-driven media buying platform. This role is critical in driving innovation and delivering scalable, cutting-edge technology solutions that transform how we leverage data, AI, and automation to optimize media buying. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, leadership experience, and a deep understanding of the media or advertising technology landscape.

Key Responsibilities:
- Technology Strategy & Architecture:
Define and execute the technology vision and architecture for the AI-powered media buying platform, ensuring alignment with business objectives and scalability. Over time, seamlessly absorb and/or integrate existing product solutions into the main technology branch.
- Platform Development & Engineering Leadership:
Oversee the design, development, and deployment of the platform, including machine learning models, data pipelines, APIs, and cloud infrastructure. - Team Leadership & Development:
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing engineering and technology team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence. - AI & Data Integration:
Lead the integration of AI/ML technologies, enabling real-time decision-making, predictive analytics, and performance optimization across media buying operations. - Operational Excellence:
Establish best practices for software development, deployment, and maintenance, including CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and system monitoring. - Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with product management, product marketing, data partnerships, Enterprise Technology, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and drive project execution. - Security & Compliance:
Ensure the platform meets the highest standards for data security, privacy, and compliance with industry regulations.
- Innovation & Continuous Improvement:
Stay ahead of technological trends and innovations, continuously improving the platform’s capabilities and identifying opportunities for future growth. Possesses modern understanding of data science concepts and how they integrate with AI technologies.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
10+ years in technology leadership roles, with at least 5 years in a senior role managing engineering teams. Experience in building and scaling AI-driven or data-intensive platforms, preferably in the media, advertising, or technology sectors. - Technical Expertise:
Deep understanding of cloud computing, machine learning, data engineering, and modern software development practices. Hands-on experience with technologies such as Python, and Kubernetes [insert tech stack details] is a plus. - Leadership & Communication:
Proven ability to lead diverse technical teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively. - Problem-Solving & Decision-Making:
Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to problem-solving and decision-making. - Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree (e.g., M.S., Ph.D.) or MBA is a plus.

Salary Range
$210,000.00 - $500,000.00
A successful applicant’s actual base salary may vary based on factors such as individual’s skill sets, experience, training, education, licensure/certifications, and qualifications for the role.
