The Head of Technical Coordination and Process will be responsible for leading and overseeing the Network Engineering and Operation’s process enforcement and vendor management functions. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring operational efficiency, optimizing project management practices, and fostering strong relationships with vendors to achieve strategic organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy

  • Assist the Head of Global Network Operations and Engineering in planning, coordinating and implementing strategic initiatives
  • Monitor industry trends and best practices to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.

Process Management

  • Lead and manage the process enforcement initiatives to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with internal processes as well as industry standards.
  • Drive continuous outcome-based processes optimizations.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to streamline and optimize project management processes.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Monitor and track the progress of departmental goals and objectives, providing regular updates to senior leadership.

Vendor Management

  • Oversee vendor management activities, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and performance evaluation.
  • Drive vendor contract cost savings through continuous vendor contract and negotiation optimizations.
  • Conduct RFP (Request for Proposal) and RFI (Request for Information) processes to evaluate and select new vendors.
  • Foster strong relationships with existing vendors and stakeholders to ensure high-quality service delivery and diversity of vendor sources.
  • Ensure that contracts and statements of work support appropriate technical requirements and security policies

Collaboration and Continuous Improvement

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Ensure that internal processes are followed and aligned with projects across functional teams from an end-to-end point of view
  • Coordinate cross-functional projects and initiatives to ensure alignment with organizational goals

Budget and Resource Management

  • Manage budget and resources to support project and process initiatives effectively.

  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance feedback to a team of professionals.
  • Assist with the day-to-day operations of the Global head of Operations and engineering, including meeting preparation, agenda setting, and follow up
  • Serve as a liaison between the Head of Global Network Operations and Engineering and other stakeholders, both internal and external


Qualifications:
Educational Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology or a related field.
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA), MS in information Technology or a similar advanced degree is preferred.

Experience

  • Eight years of experience in process improvement, project management, and vendor management.
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects and driving operational efficiency.
  • Experience in vendor selection, contract negotiation, and vendor performance evaluation.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve cost savings through vendor contract optimization.
  • Experience conducting RFP (Request for Proposal) and RFI (Request for Information) processes.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives.
  • Proficiency in project management software and vendor management systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices.

Preferred Certifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM)
  • Certified Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) or similar process improvement certifications.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may also be modified in the future. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to: relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The salary range for this role is $165,000 to $200,000.
Aeris offers a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical / dental / vision insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees.
