About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Supply to join our fast-growing team. As the Head of Supply, you will have the responsibility of leading our acquisition efforts. Your primary goals will be to optimize the supply, reduce costs, improve operational efficiency, and acquire high-quality used vehicles to meet customer demand. This role requires strategic thinking, strong leadership, exceptional project management, and a deep understanding of supply and management.
What You’ll Do
- Build relationships with individual sellers and car dealerships to facilitate the procurement process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and operations, to align acquisition efforts with business objectives.
- Manage the end-to-end acquisition process, from prospecting and evaluation to closing deals and vehicle delivery.
- Develop and implement acquisition strategies to ensure a consistent and diverse supply of vehicles from B2C and B2B channels.
- Continuously monitor and analyze key performance metrics, such as on-time delivery and supplier performance, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive acquisition strategy, including identifying potential sources, establishing partnerships, and implementing effective sourcing channels.
- Build and maintain a strong network of suppliers.
- Oversee the vehicle inspection and evaluation process to ensure the acquisition of high-quality cars that meet established standards.
- Monitor and analyze supply chain and acquisition KPIs, e.g., inventory turnover, acquisition costs, vehicle quality, and sales conversion rates.
- Use data-driven insights to optimize processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Manage the end-to-end acquisition process, from prospecting and evaluation to closing deals and vehicle delivery.
- Utilize data-driven insights to drive decision-making and continuously improve acquisition performance.
Who You Are
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience 10+ years in either Project management, Strategy, Growth, or Operations Management
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build rapport with individuals and businesses.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify actionable insights.
- Results-oriented approach with a focus on driving measurable outcomes and achieving targets.
- Leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve success.
- Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
