You are an experienced strategic marketer who thrives in a competitive environment to maximize patient impact and brand/portfolio potential by creating customer strategies and solutions. By integrating deep customer insights from various vantage points, internally and externally, you can craft compelling B2B value propositions that deliver brand objectives and customer needs across strategic priorities, including Financial, Operational and Employee and Patient experience. To execute these customer tailored solutions and establish long term partnerships, you collaborate across diverse cross functional teams to bring together capabilities across medical, health information technology, marketing, market access, patient advocacy and third-party vendors.
The Head of Strategic Solutions Marketing will report to the General Manager, US Respiratory Franchise, and work in close collaboration with brand, sales and transversal partners. These partners including US commercial colleagues, Franchise Marketing teams, Sales teams across all channels, Medical, Public Affairs, Market Access and Finance, as well as Global and Alliance partners.

Main Responsiblities

Connect brand imperatives with customer insights (current and predicted needs) to identify short and long term partnership opportunities for key commercial and federal customers

Develop tailored partnership proposals that integrate solution offerings from across Sanofi’s cross functional capabilities, including Medical, Research, Health Information Technology, Population Health and patient advocacy, and present business cases to senior executives

Work with the Integrated Account Team (IAT) and the customer in developing an optimal plan for effectively implementing, communicating and improving patient care that is aligned to appropriate goals and KPIs and customers capabilities

Build and execute a roadmap for growth opportunities creating outcomes-based feedback loops to monitor performance and enable iterative learning and continuous improvement. Incorporate these metrics into business reviews for internal and external customers.

Create content, including tailored pitch decks, that will resonate with executive level leaders at key customer accounts (eg. health systems and federal customers)

Support brand planning processes providing insights, customer and market, and partner play to win opportunities

Provide input on rationale and decisions on pricing, positioning, promotion, distribution, market research, regulatory and other topics which impact partnership opportunities

Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and key external stakeholders, including healthcare providers, patients and advocacy groups

Collaborate with transversal partners to ensure alignment of partnership imperatives across the value chain

Create a stakeholder strategy to showcase best practice collaboration examples, via white papers, webinars, podcasts and industry association meetings to establish Sanofi as a partner of choice

Develop budgets in proportion to their impact on revenues to achieve the greatest profit contribution.

Routinely expand relationships with key opinion leaders and customers to uncover opportunities, which enhance value to customers.
About You
Basic Qualifications:

BS in business administration or life sciences required
-
10 + years experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare sector

Demonstrated ability to apply marketing and digital solutions to deliver brand and customer objectives

Experience and desire to work in a fast paced dynamic environment

Strong communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:

MBA or masters
-
Experience working in or with large Integrated Health Systems, Group Purchase Organizations, Physician Buying Groups, Payor organizations

Previous consulting experience

Exceptional business acumen, strategic agility, strong analytical and conceptual thinking combined with entrepreneurial qualities and abilities

Demonstrated breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including; the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact

The salary range for this position is:
$228,750.00 - $381,250.00
