Head of Strategic Projects & Commercial Excellence
Role Overview
The Head of Strategic Projects & Commercial Excellence is responsible for spearheading high-impact international initiatives across EMEA, APAC and LATAM region that drive revenue growth, enhance margin performance, and strengthen commercial operations.
This role will develop and execute strategic projects focused on market expansion, investment opportunities, and commercial best practices. Additionally, the role involves conducting comprehensive market assessments to identify new opportunities and leverage insights for sustained commercial excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Growth & Market Expansion
- Identify and drive strategic projects that unlock revenue and margin growth opportunities.
- Lead initiatives to access and develop new markets, collaborating closely with regional and local teams.
- Support investment decisions in key markets by assessing growth potential and return on investment.
- Partner with the Head of Marketing on market expansion strategies (e.g., RAMP).
- Conduct comprehensive market assessments to set the strategic direction for international markets.
- Enhance operational effectiveness and productivity and develop go-to-market strategies in partnership with HR, finance, and General Managers.
- Provide strategic guidance to General Managers on cluster-level initiatives and projects.
Commercial Excellence & Performance Optimization
- Ownership, along with the Leadership team, of development and execution of the Commercial Excellence strategy.
- Implement and lead Commercial Excellence systems and analytics in collaboration with Marketing, Finance and HR.
- Drive adoption of- and compliance with Quarterly Business Review (QBR) process
- Establish the structure, tools and processes to drive salesforce effectiveness and sales analytics across the NM Division
- Review and drive sales compensation plan effectiveness and governance in collaboration with Human Resources to ensure pay for performance and drive the right behaviors.
- Lead and maintain the development, implementation and adaptation of a CRM tool.
Business Intelligence & Risk Management
- Oversee business intelligence to support informed decision-making and mitigate potential risks.
- Research, analyze, and recommend changes to business processes to improve operational efficiencies, behavior quality, service, and profitability.
- Collect and study operational and performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in strategy, commercial excellence, or business transformation roles.
- Strong track record of leading global strategic initiatives with measurable business impact.
- Expertise in market expansion, sales optimization, and pricing strategies.
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience in working in complex, matrixed organizations with a global footprint.
