As the Head of Sales for Wirehouse and Strategic Accounts, you will play a pivotal role in our rapidly growing organization, leveraging your deep experience in the industry to develop and execute strategies that penetrate key market segments. This entrepreneurial position is perfect for a self-motivated leader who thrives in a dynamic environment. You will acquire new customer accounts by fostering strong, trusting relationships with wirehouse executives and financial advisors, capitalizing on the positive momentum and growing demand for our comprehensive estate planning solutions. Reporting directly to the Chief Growth Officer, you will have the opportunity to shape the sales strategy and eventually build and lead your own team.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Sales Management: Grow top-line revenue by driving the entire sales process from pipeline creation to closing deals. You will become the face of our company to customers and build deep relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Long and Complex Sales Cycles: Manage and navigate long and complex sales cycles effectively, ensuring a deep understanding of client needs and delivering tailored solutions that resonate with their objectives.

  • Entrepreneurial Leadership: Foster an entrepreneurial spirit within the sales process, encouraging innovative thinking and proactive problem-solving to overcome challenges and seize opportunities.

  • New Business Development: Identify and qualify new business opportunities through research, networking, and outreach, expanding our footprint in the wirehouse market.

  • Relationship Management: Establish and cultivate strong relationships with C-level executives and other stakeholders, acting as the voice of the customer and distilling market insights to inform internal strategies.

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and refine a visionary sales strategy aimed at accelerating revenue growth from strategic accounts.

  • Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Track sales funnel KPIs, analyze performance metrics, and provide insights and recommendations to senior management for continuous improvement.

  • Collaboration and Training: Collaborate closely with marketing, product development, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and maximize growth potential. Provide ongoing training and support to the sales team.

Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of experience selling into large wirehouses or financial services firms.
  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles within the wealth management or financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of wirehouse operations and the estate planning landscape.
  • Experience managing long and complex sales cycles, with a demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and engaging stakeholders at all levels.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a results-oriented approach and the ability to adapt to changing market conditions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
