About this role:
The Enterprise GenAI organization is dedicated to advancing the use of generative AI technologies within the company. This team is responsible for developing and implementing AI solutions that enhance customer experiences, optimize operational efficiencies, and drive innovation.
The Head of Responsible and Ethical AI will play a critical role in ensuring the safe, ethical, and compliant deployment of generative AI technologies across the enterprise. This role will support key functions including AI Guardrails, Regulatory Alignment and Management, and Legal and Compliance Management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AI governance, regulatory compliance, and legal frameworks, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive strategic initiatives.
In this role, you will:

AI Guardrails: Develop and implement AI guardrails to ensure the ethical and responsible use of generative AI technologies. Establish guidelines and best practices for AI development and deployment, ensuring alignment with industry standards and organizational values.

Regulatory Alignment and Management: Oversee the alignment of AI initiatives with regulatory requirements. Monitor and interpret relevant regulations, ensuring that AI solutions comply with all applicable laws and standards. Collaborate with regulatory bodies and industry groups to stay abreast of emerging trends and requirements.

Legal and Compliance Management: Lead the development and implementation of legal and compliance frameworks for AI technologies. Ensure that AI solutions adhere to legal requirements and ethical guidelines. Work closely with legal, compliance, and risk management teams to address potential legal and compliance issues.

Leadership and Strategy: Develop and articulate a clear vision for the AI governance and compliance function. Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data science, IT, product management, and business units, to ensure the successful implementation of AI initiatives. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and creative problem-solving.

Performance Monitoring: Establish metrics and KPIs to track the performance and impact of AI governance and compliance initiatives. Continuously monitor, evaluate, and optimize the effectiveness of deployed frameworks and processes. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:

8+ years of Technology Strategic Leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

4+ years of management or leadership experience

4 years of regulatory compliance and legal framework experience

1 year of AI governance and domain knowledge
Desired Qualifications:

Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Law, or a related field.

Strong background in managing AI initiatives within a large organization.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$207,900.00 - $431,900.00
