The Role & What You Will Be Doing

Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the Head of Quality Assurance Switzerland (m/f/d) role will make an impact:

  • Leading the Quality team of 8 employees

  • Manage, lead and organize the department Quality Assurance

  • Supervise the pharmaceutical business of our Entities in Switzerland

  • Ensure site operates in adherence to quality standards following GMP and GDP regulation and compliance with registered particulars

  • Fachtechnisch verantwortliche Person (FVP) according to swiss law

  • Ensure transparency and communication with Swissmedic in line with regulation

  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams locally and regional

  • Support affiliate needs with regard to product launch, product release

About Your Skills & Experience

For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:

  • University degree in pharmacy or equivalent degree (e.g chemistry or natural sciences as stipulated in AMBV Chapter 2, Section 1, Article 5 and AMBV Chapter 2, Section 2, Article 10. 

  • Adequate and sound experience in the pharmaceutical industry and/or manufacturing sites 

  • Experience in personnel management in a pharmaceutical environment

  • Several years of experience and expertise in quality assurance 

  • Will to succeed, clear goal orientation and the ability to implement objectives together with the team 

  • Independent, structured and solution-oriented approach to work and clear focus on corporate objectives 

  • Fluent in German and English (French and/or Italian are a plus)
