• Lead a Global Team of QA Engineers: As a QA leader, you would oversee and manage a team of QA engineers working in different regions, including APAC, Europe, and North America. This involves ensuring effective collaboration and communication across geographical boundaries. You will have a leadership team reporting to you. Your role includes providing direction, guidance, and mentorship to these leaders to ensure alignment with the overall QA strategy
• Implement and Shape QA Processes and Strategies: You should have experience in developing and implementing QA processes and strategies. This may include defining testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks that align with the organization's goals
• Define QA Strategy, Approach, and Execution: Your role would involve setting the direction for how quality assurance is approached within development projects. This includes defining the overall QA strategy, the testing approach to be taken, and overseeing the execution of testing activities
• Risk Management and Risk-Based Testing: Identifying and managing risks related to quality and testing is crucial. You would be responsible for implementing risk-based testing strategies to optimize the testing efforts and focus on high-risk areas
• Advocate of Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement: You should be a champion for quality assurance and continuous improvement. This involves promoting best practices, staying updated with industry standards, and driving a culture of quality within the organization
• Continuous QA Improvements: Focus on continuously improving the QA processes and practices. This involves assessing the effectiveness of current QA methods and identifying areas for enhancement

Show us what you've got

• Education & Experience: You have 7-10+ years of professional experience in the field of Quality Assurance, both operationally, strategically, and conceptually, including several years with full management and personnel responsibility in an international company
• Strong Technical Skills: You should possess both functional and non-functional testing skills, and you should be knowledgeable in both manual and automated testing. This enables you to guide and mentor your team effectively. You should have deep understanding about a multi-client product testing.
• Tech-Stack: Ideally, you have knowledge of:
• Programming Languages: J2EE Technologies, Scriptings (LINUX SHELL, DOS BATCH, XSLT, typescript)
• Frameworks: Selenium, Cucumber, Schaft, testRail
• Tools & Utilities: git, SQL client, PostMan, SoapUI, jMeter, FinSim
• Databases: MySQL/MariaDB, Oracle, PostGreSQL
• Payment Knowledge: The "must-have" requirement for this role is knowledge in the Payment switching, Acquiring, Card Management System, particularly in the context of specifications like ISO8583 and/or ISO20022
• Language Skills: You can easily communicate in English in our intercultural environment in any situation
• Work Location: Work location is Martinsried (Munich)
