Position Purpose:
A pivotal executive role responsible for steering the operational performance of healthcare providers within a designated region. This position demands strategic foresight, exemplary leadership, and meticulous coordination to ensure the delivery of superior patient care, operational excellence, and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction to regional provider operations teams.
- Develop and execute comprehensive operational plans aligned with organizational goals.
- Cultivate a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee and assess the performance of healthcare providers within the region.
- Ensure strict compliance with healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Lead the adoption of best practices and standard operating procedures.
- Develop and manage regional budgets, ensuring financial targets are achieved.
- Analyze financial performance and implement cost-effective strategies.
- Collaborate with finance teams to optimize resource allocation.
- Drive quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and spearhead performance enhancements.
- Address and resolve operational challenges, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Build and maintain robust relationships with healthcare providers, payers, and other stakeholders.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Complies with all policies and standards.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in business administration, healthcare management, or related field or equivalent experience required
- Master's Degree in a related field preferred
- 10+ years of healthcare operations experience required
- Previous experience managing staff, including hiring, training, managing workload and performance. required
- Large-scale management experience within environments regulated by state and federal agencies preferred
