Overall Job Purpose

The role holder’s primary objective is to drive process transformation initiatives for Asset management business with an objective to drive process efficiency and effectiveness, resulting in delivering better services to the end customer with improved controls , improved employee satisfaction and reduce cost

The role holder is responsible for identifying, developing, planning, managing and scaling up business process improvement and automation initiatives whilst overseeing the implementation of planned deliverables.

As part of the role, this person is expected to consult with sponsors and stakeholders to identity/review improvement opportunities including outcomes, time frames, and funding. They are also required to ensure that program outcomes are accomplished and in line with business objectives including the  management of program budgets.

They will be required  to govern and own the technical deliverables of the team and responsible for supporting the development of the intelligent automation service offering for M&G Asset Management.

Accountabilities/Responsibilities

• Drives management plans and activities from initiation to implementation & sustainment to achieve desired business outcomes from the process transformation and intelligent automation programme of works.
• Drive and ensure the success of process improvement initiatives across the businesses
• Engages leaders, stakeholders and other impacted audiences to create an engaged workforce who understands business goals & what it means for customers and employees.
• Leads the execution of change management programs; assesses and adapts as needed to ensure quality of execution.
• Leads evaluation of intelligent automation capabilities and new ways of working.
• Oversee utilisation and budget planning for the programme
• Educates the organization on opportunities, raising digital awareness and dexterity across teams.
• Maintain assertive communication and keep day to day effective contact with Business Owners and senior leadership teams
• Provide accurate and valuable MIS for key stakeholders
• Monitor and mitigate project/ program risks
• Act as the first-line escalation point of contact for all  matter pertaining to process excellence and intelligent automation programme

Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Educational Qualification

Knowledge & Skills (Key):

• Strong process transformation experience in asset management domain.
• Strong experience in the SDLC with a proven track record of managing large programmes and high impact deliveries with intelligent automation focus.
• Strong Experience in handling consulting engagements and experience of delivering process improvement projects
• Excellent understanding of process excellence methodologies like Lean Six Sigma, Design Thinking.
• Experience in business analysis, high level design and data architecture
• Highly experienced in managing a diverse cross-functional team.
• Proven track record of managing senior level stakeholders (CXO / Director) across locations
• Team player with experience in leading and collaborating cross-team to ensure successful delivery of solutions.
• Excellent understanding of low code products as well as other automation platforms & upcoming trends in the automation landscape.
• Intelligent automation experience and skills in using low-code AI/ML led automation platforms and understanding of Cloud concepts (SaaS, PaaS and IaaS)
• Strong stakeholder management skills and an ability to handle multiple clients and multiple team members with confidence
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, work management, communications and analytical skills
• Strong Leadership skills

Knowledge and Skills (Desirable):

• Experience in automation platform such as BPM and OCR / Extraction engines is desirable
• Good knowledge of support tools used (Service Now, JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps) is desirable.

Experience:

• 15+ years of corporate experience and large part of that with asset management firms
• 7+ years of project management skills, people management experience and agile coaching.
• 5+ years of experience leading process improvement and automation projects in Asset Management.
• Experience working in fast paced agile environments and cross functional teams
