Are you our new Head of Portfolios Strategy?
As the Head of Portfolios Strategy at Intrum in Athens, you will lead a team of analysts in analyzing non-performing loan data. You will identify trends to drive business growth and collaborate with teams across the company. Responsibilities include strategic portfolio segmentation, ad hoc analyses to improve operational effectiveness, data support for portfolio transactions, and formulating Business Plans. You will also monitor NPE-related performance through detailed reports and make improvement recommendations.
What will you do:
- Design and perform strategic portfolio segmentation to identify the optimal handling channel (portfolio assignment) and proposed action allocation (collections, restructuring or denouncement)
- Perform ad hoc analysis of portfolio characteristics including debtor and collateral characteristics, recoveries, legal action status, EBA statuses) to optimize the performance and the effectiveness of the operational model
- Provide data support and analytics for portfolio transactions, contributing to the formulation of corresponding Business Plans (sell or buy side transactions)
- Monitor the performance of business functions and goals achievement, related to NPEs through specific reports and analyses and make recommendations for improvements where needed
What we’re looking for:
- University degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, Business Administration or related discipline
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role within the Financial Services Industry, demonstrating a deep understanding of industry-specific challenges and best practices
- Proven ability to manage and analyze large datasets, proficiency in SAS and SQL
- Strong quantitative and analytical thinking skills, with a keen aptitude for problem-solving
- Solid business acumen, enabling you to align data strategies with broader business objectives
- Demonstrated experience in managing teams
- Positive attitude and ability to cope with new initiatives
- Team-player with the ability to interact effectively with different stakeholders
