The Position
At Novo Nordisk you will be joining our Fill & Finish Expansions department and as the Head of PMO, you will be a key driving force behind the successful execution of a major CAPEX project. You will lead and mentor a team of dedicated project people, ensuring that our project is well-planned, executed, controlled, and delivered to meet the business objectives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
In this role at Novo Nordisk, you will:

  • Establish project governance frameworks and standards to ensure consistency and quality across projects.
  • Define and enforce project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Lead project disciplines such as Project Controls, Engineering, EHS, etc.
  • Oversee the successful delivery of projects and ensure alignment with organizational goals and strategies.
  • Proactively define overall project goals and deliverables in close collaboration with the Project Director.
  • Add value to every aspect of the project by delivering key professional insights, shaping approaches and methods, and considering alternative project strategies.
  • Interact extensively across the entire project, with site management and projects, and with the Fill & Finish Expansion programme.


Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

  • An academic degree within engineering, business or other relevant area.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in a similar position leading CAPEX projects or business support, preferably related to ramping up sites and production..
  • Extensive experience working in large and complex projects in various roles including roles within project management and leadership, preferably from the pharmaceutical industry or other regulated industries.
  • An advanced leadership toolbox and a flair for driving results in a complex stakeholder landscape.
  • A solid understanding of Project Controls and the ability to set clear directions for the underlying disciplines (Engineering, EHS, Cost, Scheduling, Risk).

You will be joining Fill & Finish Expansions, a newly established and growing area within Product Supply, Quality & IT (PSQIT). Our team is responsible for designing, planning, and building major fill & finish expansion projects across Novo Nordisk. We are dedicated to serving the needs of millions of patients by rethinking our fill & finish facilities with the use of modern technology.
