About the Role:

We are looking for our first Head of People to support our growth, build an industry leading people experience and foster our ability to scale. You will be able to build the People Function from the ground up and have a high impact in unlocking the continued success of Asymmetric Research as a member of our leadership team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a people strategy that aligns with the company’s overall business goals and supports our mission to be a leader in the security industry.

  • Act as a strategic partner to the founders and leadership team, driving and advising on organizational development, workforce planning, and talent management strategies.

  • Partner with the Business Operations team to support the entire organization and effectuate strategies in resource allocation, resource/benefits planning and other related areas.

  • Lead organizational change efforts, ensuring alignment with business needs and maintaining a positive and resilient company culture.

  • Serve as the primary driver of employee experience, ensuring that company culture, values, and leadership behaviors are reflected in all people initiatives.

  • Oversee the recruitment strategy to ensure that we attract and hire top talent, particularly in highly specialized roles.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive talent development program, focusing on leadership training, skill development, and succession planning.

  • Ensure the company’s total rewards strategy is competitive, equitable, and aligned with industry standards.

  • Develop and implement strategies to measure and improve employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.

  • Foster a culture of continuous feedback, recognition, and accountability to enhance employee morale and performance.

  • Oversee HR operations, including performance management, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.

  • Partner with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to labor laws, health and safety standards and all applicable laws.

  • Understand the needs of our employees and take ownership of identifying and implementing solutions.

  • Effectively coach team members and deliver feedback in a constructive and productive manner.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of People Operations experience working with high-growth tech companies and/or startups.

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and excited to build and execute people initiatives from scratch.

  • Previous leader of efforts around recruitment, talent development, total rewards strategy, headcount planning, and other people partnership initiatives.

  • Experience managing a globally dispersed workforce.

  • Significant experience in benefits administration, systems administration, payroll/compensation and related HR-process functions.

  • Strong operational thinker with a knack for solving problems and building solutions.

  • Proven experience working cross-functionally and developing partnerships across all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to be discrete and maintain a high degree of confidentiality at all times.

  • Strong handle on compliance with local employment laws and best practices in the space.
