Job Description
Now, here's the part where you come in.
We’re looking for an exceptional Head of Operations to join our team and help take things to the next level. If you’re someone who thrives in the fast-paced world of food manufacturing and you're driven by the challenge of overseeing multiple sites and complex operations, this could be your next big opportunity.
Here’s the picture: you’ll be overseeing 7 manufacturing sites across a diverse range of products — from sweets to honey, Christmas puddings to snacks. Each site has its own personality, but your leadership will ensure they work as part of a cohesive, efficient operation.
Your role will be all about strategy and execution: from setting the direction and overseeing production to ensuring our financial performance is on track and hitting those all-important manufacturing KPIs. But there’s more to it. This is a role with real impact – you’ll be responsible for leading investment projects, shaping the future of our operations, driving people development, and ensuring our sites meet the highest audit standards. Every day will bring a new challenge, and that's exactly how we like it!
The best part? You won’t be doing this alone. You'll have a dedicated team of Factory General Managers reporting into you, and you'll work closely with colleagues in operations, engineering, technical, and supply chain to ensure we meet our objectives and deliver world-class products.
This isn’t just about managing the day-to-day; this is about building a legacy of operational excellence. If you’re ready to roll up your sleeves, tackle exciting projects, and lead a talented team across some of the UK’s most iconic food brands, we want to hear from you.
Qualifications
We’re looking for someone with a proven track record in multi-site operations within food manufacturing. You’ll need to be comfortable traveling regularly – this is a role where no two days are the same, and your leadership will be felt across all sites. Strong communication skills are a must, as you’ll be liaising with a wide range of stakeholders, including our operations leadership team, technical teams, HR, engineering, logistics, and more.
