The Position
As the Head of Market Access, you will be responsible for securing national market access for Novo Nordisk's product portfolio in Sweden and ensuring the organization is fully prepared for future market entries. You will lead the national Market Access team and play a key role in cross-functional collaboration efforts, ensuring that both mid- and long-term strategic commercial and access perspectives are integrated into business planning and decision-making processes. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving the market access strategy and delivering success for Novo Nordisk in Sweden.
In addition, you will:

  • Drive strategies for horizon scanning, market access, scenario planning, and negotiation strategies.
  • Build capabilities and cross-regional intelligence on market potential for pipeline and launch preparations.
  • Develop expertise in Pricing & Market Access, focusing on future HTA developments and industry trends across the EU, Nordics, and Sweden.
  • Monitor and evaluate market access developments with significant business impact, providing strategic recommendations for improvement.
  • Lead strategic initiatives to capitalize on commercial opportunities while ensuring a strong focus on market development and preparation for new product entries.


The position is based in Malmö, with travel to Stockholm (or vice versa).
Qualifications
We are looking for a proactive and innovative person who aims at inspiring others and challenging the status quo. As working cross-functionally with many stakeholders is a crucial part of the role, we need a highly collaborative professional with great communication skills and commercial acumen.
Moreover, we expect our candidate to:

  • Hold a university degree in life science or business
  • Have a proven experience of working in the pharmaceutical industry within sales, marketing, or market access/public affairs
  • Have a strong understanding of the Swedish healthcare system
  • Possess leadership experience managing direct reports
  • Be a fluent speaker of Swedish and English

In this role you'd be reporting directly to the Senior Director Market Access and Public Affairs and collaborating closely with and outside of the team.
