A Day in the Life of Weel’s Head of Marketing


At Weel, we’re transforming the future of expense management, and we’re looking for a passionate and visionary Head of Marketing to help scale our presence across the APAC region. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of a fast-growing fintech startup, with the chance to make a significant impact as we embark on our exciting Series B journey.


As a leader at Weel, you’ll have the freedom to craft and implement a marketing strategy that drives results while fostering an inclusive, collaborative, and empowering team culture. You’ll work hand-in-hand with cross-functional teams—Sales, Product, and Finance—to build a powerful brand and generate meaningful growth. What You’ll Own & Drive


🚀 Own & Optimize the Top-of-Funnel (TOFU) Engine


Take full ownership of top-of-funnel growth, ensuring a steady flow of high-quality leads into the pipeline.

Develop a data-driven multi-channel strategy across paid, organic, content, partnerships, and ABM to maximize awareness and lead volume.

Identify, test, and scale new acquisition channels—staying ahead of market trends to expand Weel’s reach.


📈 Experimentation & Fast-Paced Iteration


Run a high-velocity test-and-learn approach, launching rapid experiments to refine messaging, channels, and audience targeting.

Develop agile marketing strategies, using real-time data to quickly pivot, optimize, and double down on high-performing initiatives.

Establish a strong feedback loop between marketing, sales, and product teams to inform ongoing refinements.


🤝 Align Marketing & Sales for Revenue Growth


Work hand-in-hand with Sales to refine lead scoring, nurture flows, and conversion strategies.

Build a marketing roadmap that supports ambitious growth targets while maintaining efficiency.

Develop compelling messaging that resonates with our ICP (ideal customer profile) and drives conversions.

Define marketing KPIs that link directly to business growth, from CAC to ROI.

Leverage data analytics & experimentation to optimize marketing performance.

Implement and scale marketing automation, attribution modeling, and performance tracking.

You might be a rising senior marketing leader in a B2B high growth scale up ready to take the next step, or you may already have leadership experience —either way, if you have the ability to drive growth, build strong marketing strategies, and collaborate across teams, you’ll be set up for success.

Marketing Strategy & Growth – You’ve helped build and execute marketing strategies that drive customer acquisition and brand awareness.

Data Analytics & Strategic Adaptability – You’re comfortable using marketing analytics, and performance metrics to inform decision-making. You can quickly pivot strategies based on data-driven insights, optimizing campaigns, messaging, and channel investments to maximize impact.

Top-of-Funnel & Demand Generation – You understand how to scale lead generation programs, run multi-channel campaigns, and optimize the full marketing funnel.

Experimentation & Agility – You thrive in fast-moving environments, enjoy testing and iterating, and make decisions based on data.

Sales & Marketing Alignment – You’ve worked with sales teams to create a seamless marketing-to-revenue funnel.

Brand Storytelling & Positioning – You know how to create compelling messaging that differentiates a brand in a competitive space.

Leadership & Collaboration – Whether you’ve managed a team or played a leadership role within a team, you enjoy mentoring others and fostering collaboration.


Bonus Points If You Have


Experience with Series B or C Startups: If you’ve scaled marketing strategies during high-growth phases, especially in early-stage SaaS companies, we’d love to hear about it.

A Strong Network in Finance or Fintech: Having a deep understanding of the fintech landscape and connections within the finance community would be a huge asset.
