Why be a Head of Influencer Marketing at LOOKFANTASTIC?

We are looking for a strategic and commercial-savvy influencer marketing leader to spearhead and deliver the global influencer marketing and creator strategy for LOOKFANTASTIC. Reporting into the Marketing Director, you will be responsible for reviewing and developing our approach to influencer marketing, ensuring that we deliver best-in-class activations to meet both commercial and brand objectives, as well as working closely with peers across brand marketing, organic and paid social to leverage influencers and creators across marketing channels. 

   

This role is best suited to someone with a background in retail/eCommerce, whilst agency experience is also advantageous. We are looking for a knowledgeable, proactive and inspirational leader who is immersed in the world of influencer, social and wider pop-culture, excited to be in the driving seat of one of the most important marketing channels for LOOKFANTASTIC. 

As a Head of Influencer Marketing, you’ll:

  • Lead our global influencer marketing strategy, with a focus on the EU (Netherlands, Germany) and Middle East; including sourcing and setting up agency partnerships where required 
  • Alongside the Head of Marketing, forecast KPIs and channel performance on a weekly/ monthly basis  
  • Work with our Data & Insights team to develop channel reporting framework, to better understand true impact of influencer marketing (for example, via MTA and/or MMM) 
  • Manage a multi-million pound influencer marketing budget, reviewing and allocating appropriate spend for key activations alongside “always-on” activity 
  • Define and oversee our approach to using content creators, working with channel leads to maximise use of content  
  • Create a VIP/celebrity influencer strategy, leading all top-tier partnerships from identification, to negotiation and campaign management 
  • Nurture relationship with key agencies, talent managers and direct talent, acting as a brand ambassador for LOOKFANTASTIC 
  • Provide leadership and guidance for influencer team  


What skills and experience do I need for this role?

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in influencer, working with/for at least one large-scale brand (£100M+) 
  • Hands-on experience across influencer marketing, including talent management, negotiation and activation 
  • Understanding of paid social best practice and amplification of creator content 
  • Prior management of multi-million pound budget, including tracking, re-forecasting and annual budget submissions 
  • Line management experience 
  • Experience managing/overseeing organic or paid social teams desirable
