About Kiddom

Kiddom is a groundbreaking educational platform that promotes student equity and growth by uniting high-quality instructional materials with dynamic digital learning. Through unparalleled curriculum management functionality, Kiddom empowers schools and districts to take ownership of their curriculum – resulting in learning experiences tailored to meet the unique needs and goals of local communities. Kiddom’s high-quality curriculum is layered with robust teacher and leader data insights to drive the continuous improvement of instructional decisions, school/district programming, and professional learning.

Kiddom’s Head of Impact Leader ensures products and programs deliver on their promise; they are responsible for a consistent increase in product results, i.e. student growth and achievement on instructional programs and increased teacher confidence using Kiddom’s products. This person will build and lead an applied research team to implement continuous improvement strategies for Kiddom's products. They have demonstrable experience validating educational products involving models of student learning and measuring the trustworthiness of these products with teachers and learners. They will collaborate with data science team members to produce and validate machine learning and psychometric models that provide sound and trustworthy guidance for dosage. They will serve as a critical liaison with Kiddom's UX researchers, and other stakeholders providing guidance and substantive context for harmonizing model inferences and the user experiences that leverage them. And finally, they must think flexibly and creatively about research applications within specific product constraints and be able to clearly communicate ideas and findings to non-experts.

In short, we’re looking for a person who resembles a scientist: their work is shaped by their own curiosity and a commitment to their organization’s success, and not restricted by traditional frameworks or best practices in research and evaluation.
