What You’ll Do

We are seeking an entrepreneurial marketing leader to run growth marketing across both sides of the Togetherhood marketplace, with an initial focus on the demand side of the Togetherhood marketplace: our clients (schools, school districts, community centers, religious organizations, and apartment buildings). We are looking for somebody with a strong passion for K-12 education and enrichment and a healthy obsession with crafting customer marketing programs that foster deep retention, loyalty and brand love. In this job, your primary areas of responsibility will be:

  • Growth of our B2B client base, with an initial focus on developing top of funnel leads throughout the NYC metropolitan area, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Once those systems are in place, the responsibilities will also include growing the network of enrichment providers, teaching artists, coaches and instructors throughout the New York metropolitan area and any other local markets that the company expands into.
  • Build a sustainable, scalable, repeatable engine of growth levers that will help drive Togetherhood’s business through the next stages of the company.
  • The full customer lifecycle of a client, including acquisition, onboarding, retention, engagement and loyalty.
  • Oversee all aspects of digital marketing, including email marketing, social media, content marketing, SEO, SEM, and other relevant channels.
  • Ownership over content marketing, developing a referral program and qualified lead generation.
  • When the position expands to include the supply side of the marketplace, the job will include cultivation of the Togetherhood course catalog, the options that customers can choose from when designing their course line up. This includes ensuring that courses level up term over term and use effective marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Sales, Customer Success and Product Development to devise and execute Togetherhood’s business strategy.

Who you are

  • You have 7+ years of experience driving impact in a growth marketing role, ideally in a marketplace business. Bonus points for previous experience in a startup environment.
  • 3+ years of experience managing teams. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ideally, you have a background helping build edtech companies, specifically ones focused on the K-12 market.
  • You're driven by a desire to build deep, meaningful customer relationships.
  • You're analytical and metrics-oriented. You seek to measure because you seek to improve, whether it be through reports, dashboards, or complex ad hoc analyses.
  • You have experience with marketing and workflow automation tools and technologies such as Hubspot and Asana.
  • You're a strategic thinker and exceptional communicator.
  • A strong bias to action and sense of curiosity. As a fast-growing company, everyone’s scope is big and we’re always doing something new.
