We’re looking for a Head of Global Supply Chain to join Snap Lab at Snap Inc!
What you’ll do:

Own the supplier relationships, sourcing strategies and internal engineering partnerships across the entire supply chain supporting Snap AR glasses (Spectacles)

Manage and lead a global team of sourcing and supply chain managers responsible for external supplier relationships

Define and implement our overall supply management strategy to ensure available supply, optimize costs, access to differentiated technology through enabling supplier roadmaps, influence business direction and protect Snap through robust contracts

Manage executive supplier relationships

Communicate, influence, and interact globally to build strategic partnerships with partners/stakeholders /executive management

Strengthen data and analytics culture across the organization to proactively identify opportunities, model desired outcomes, and effectively manage performance

Responsible for quality, product and material availability, and cost for the Spectacles product

Influence product strategy, engineering decisions and ability to drive industry level change
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
-
Knowledge of the electronic manufacturing environment; materials, and processes

Experience and successes building and scaling supply chains from start up phase to mass production volumes

Strong verbal, written, presentation, analytical and interpersonal skills
-
Ability to drive and deliver results through motivating cross-cultural teams
-
Strong analytical and problem solving ability. Appreciation of both practical and theoretical methodologies

Experience engaging with suppliers at the C Suite level with constructive confrontation and collaboration
-
Ability to excel in leading in a highly matrixed development environment
Minimum Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Supply Chain or equivalent post graduate qualification required.

14+ years of professional experience in an executive leadership role within a global matrix managed multi-site company with manufacturing and supplier operations spread over multiple continents.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience in the consumer electronics industry together with sourcing background in high-volume mechanical parts including metal and plastic components, cameras, batteries, optics etc. is highly desired

Compensation
In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.
Zone A (CA, WA, NYC):
The base salary range for this position is $202,000-$303,000 annually.
Zone B:
The base salary range for this position is $192,000-$288,000 annually.
Zone C:
The base salary range for this position is $172,000-$257,000 annually.
This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
