ABOUT THE TEAM

The Deployments Team manages the coordination and execution of fielding Anduril’s hardware and software products worldwide. Working across Product, Engineering, Growth, Business Development, Technical Operations, and Mission Operations, Deployments oversees forward logistics, site installation, maintenance & repairs, field inventory management, sustainment and reverse logistics. The team is central to ensuring effective customer and mission success, shaping the future of Anduril’s defense solutions.

ABOUT THE JOB

We are seeking a Head of Global Logistics & Transportation to lead and oversee all aspects of global logistics operations, ensuring the efficient, secure, and cost effective transport of products, equipment, and materials across the world. In this position, you will build and guide a high-performing team responsible for planning and executing thousands of shipments annually. You will have a critical role in shaping Anduril’s global transportation strategy, managing complex international logistics networks, and ensuring organizational compliance with export controls, customs regulations, and safety standards.
This role is ideal for a logistics leader with deep expertise in international transportation, compliance, and supply chain strategy, who thrives in high-growth, high-stakes environments. You will have a direct impact on mission success, operational efficiency, and Anduril’s global expansion. You will mentor and lead cross-functional teams, build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure on-time deliveries in support of critical missions around the world. WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Strategic Logistics Management & Optimization
    • Develop and implement a global logistics & transportation strategy to optimize supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance delivery performance.
    • Establish scalable processes for the transportation, storage, and handling of high-value, sensitive, and regulated materials.
    • Develop metrics and KPIs to monitor logistics performance, identify bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement.
    • Implement network modeling and route optimization strategies to enhance shipment efficiency, and improve overall performance for the transportation network.
  • Global Freight & Supply Chain Operations
    • Oversee international and domestic freight management, ensuring reliable and timely transportation across air, sea, and ground networks.
    • Manage relationships with logistics service providers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers, negotiating contracts and service levels.
    • Develop contingency plans to address potential logistics disruptions, including supply chain bottlenecks, customs delays, and security risks.
    • Ensure organizational compliance with import & export regulations (ITAR, EAR, CBP, BIS) and govern the overarching requirements for global shipments.
  • Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Build, scale, mentor, and develop a high-performing global logistics team, ensuring operational excellence and professional growth to match ever expanding product lines & operations.
    • Provide strategic guidance, aligning logistics and transportation initiatives with business objectives by collaborating closely with Engineering, Deployment Operations, and Business Line leadership.
    • Foster a collaborative, mission-focused culture that supports professional growth and employee engagement.
    • Identify and resolve obstacles for the team, leveraging both strategic and scrappy solutions to maintain delivery timelines.
  • Budgeting & Cost Control
    • Direct the global logistics financial plan, balancing cost-efficiency with high service reliability, while ensuring alignment with the company’s fiscal objectives.
    • Proactively forecast logistic financial demands, spearheading cost-saving measures that maintain operational excellence and support long-term business sustainability.
    • Champion the adoption of new solutions to improve logistics operations, driving efficiency gains and cost reductions across the global supply chain.
  • Continuous Improvement & Best Practices
    • Evaluate logistics processes and performance metrics, driving continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs, eliminate inefficiencies, and enhance reliability.
    • Spearhead the development of new tools, techniques, and methods that streamline transportation, logistics operations, and installation processes.
    • Establish a framework for best practices in logistics and transportation management, ensuring standardization across the organization while fostering adaptability.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, business/operations, or a related technical field.
  • 12+ years of leadership experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation management, with a focus on international operations.
  • Demonstrated technical and leadership acumen. Deep expertise directing teams in international logistics, operations, and freight network optimization.
  • Ability to develop scalable logistics strategies that support business growth and operational efficiency with a track record of solving complex global logistics challenges at the highest level.
  • Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills, with experience managing logistics contracts and service agreements.
  • Strong leadership skills, including organizing, planning, scheduling, and balancing personnel workloads to meet rigorous deadlines and milestones.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, presentation, and interpersonal skills are required to enable an effective interface with other departments, all levels of management, customers, and government representatives.
  • Proven ability to problem-solve and remove obstacles for your teams; willing to roll up your sleeves and tackle any challenge.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a track record of delivering high-quality results in fast-paced or ambiguous environments.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance

US Salary Range

$136,000$210,000 USD

 

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
