We are seeking an accomplished and strategic Head of Gaming to join our team and spearhead the design direction for cloud gaming, casual gaming, and IP-based experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in game design and player engagement, coupled with a strong vision for the future of gaming. This role demands not only exceptional creative and technical proficiency but also strategic foresight to identify market trends and opportunities. You will be responsible for shaping our gaming portfolio, guiding cross-functional teams in executing innovative gameplay experiences, and driving long-term success through a clear design vision and effective leadership.

What you'll do:

• Support the Global Design Director and partner with product teams to develop a single global gaming roadmap that achieves the different long-range business plans for gaming worldwide, including Xumo, Xfinity and Sky

• Design and launch the next generation of global gaming experiences on Entertainment OS, collaborating with business development teams, product teams, and third-party studios and developers.

• Lead the design direction for cloud gaming, casual gaming, and IP-based experiences.

• Shape and manage the gaming portfolio to align with market trends and consumer demands.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product and Engineering, to develop and execute innovative gameplay experiences.

• Drive player engagement strategies to enhance user retention and satisfaction.

• Design native gaming apps to stimulate the category and create a beacon to attract new partners and developers.

• Foster a creative and inclusive team environment that encourages innovation and experimentation.

• Evaluate and implement new technologies and methodologies to improve game development processes.

• Represent the gaming in executive-level discussions, presenting strategic initiatives and progress.

What you'll bring:

• Exceptional creativity and a passion for creating fun and engaging gameplay experiences.

• Strong understanding of player engagement and market dynamics within the gaming industry.

• Visionary mindset with a strategic approach to identifying trends and opportunities.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.

• Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of current and emerging gaming technologies.

• Proven track record of designing and shipping successful games on mobile, console, or PC platforms.

• Proficiency with game design tools and software such as Unity, Unreal Engine, or similar development environments.

• Strong understanding of game mechanics, level design, and user experience principles.

• Proven understanding of player psychology and engagement strategies.

• Experience designing for TV and Mobile

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in game design or creative leadership, with a focus on casual games and/or established IPs.
