Are you our new Head of Finance?

Location: Riga

What will you do:

• Oversee the smooth and efficient running of the financial services in Intrum Global Technologies, Riga (IGT) and Group IT in collaboration with the Finance Center of Excellence (FCoE) and external providers;
• Ensure finance team leadership, setup, development and team cross-functionality;
• Ensure great and constructive collaboration with IGT departments, Group IT,  FCoE and other stakeholders and partners;
• Prepare budget and follow up on execution providing necessary analysis and reporting;
• Actively assist and support all cost center owners with budget, forecast and and reporting;
• Responsible for service cost invoicing to internal customers within the Intrum Group;
• Ensure financial services support to Group IT including Finance Controlling;
• Provide analysis and cost saving proposals IT management;
• Ensure compliance with statutory authority, Intrum Group and audit requirements;
• Prepare different reports for stakeholders and provide necessary consultancy

What we’re looking for:

• Interest in IT and a clear understanding of the finance function within a technology-driven company;
• 5+ years of similar work experience in an international company;
• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration;
• Excellent knowledge of the local tax legislation, Transfer Pricing, financial planning and controlling;
• Very good knowledge of MS Office applications, advanced MS Excel skills,
• Experience with finance and accounting systems (Workday knowledge is an advantage;
• Proven people leadership and management skills;
• Fluent Latvian and English knowledge, both oral and written;
• A proactive, methodical, and solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to challenge existing practices;
• A team player.
