About the Role
THG Ingenuity is THG’s proprietary, end-to-end technology and operating platform that has enabled the group to successfully build and scale its own global, direct-to-consumer brands, including market leaders Myprotein and lookfantastic. The platform continues to power THG’s $1.5 bn annual turnover and now services a growing portfolio of international retailers ready to take their brands to the next level of growth, working with businesses including large well know international brands.
In this role you will be working closely with senior operational stakeholders across the globe to optimise efficiency throughout the THG fulfilment network. You will oversee the fulfilment finance team in delivering regional performance updates to relevant stakeholders on a weekly basis, highlighting any variances to forecasts and areas of focus. Accounting control is key with a requirement to oversee the month-end accounting process and demonstrate strong balance sheet management.
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing journals, exceptionals and client profitability.
- Board slides and other adhoc analysis for key stakeholders.
- Working with site leads on key projects, Peak planning, automation and cost saving initiatives.
- Weekly KPI and site P&L reviews with site leads.
- Monthly site reviews with site leads.
- Oversee international FC based in Poland and other UK warehouse based qualified finance staff.
- Payback calculations on warehouse Capex projects.
- Support on internal and external audits both UK, US, Poland and Australia.
- Reviewing weekly forecast submissions and Budget / reforecasts.
- Ingenuity client profitability weekly forecast.
- Exceptional reporting, fixed cost reporting, cost saving initiatives, ingenuity reporting and other ad-hoc reporting for the operational senior finance team.
Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ ACCA/ ACA)
- Experience working within the operations / distribution / fulfilment industry within a finance leadership role
- Experience in leading and developing Finance teams.
- Experience working within a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage a high-volume workload in a fast-moving and changeable environment.
- Analytical, quick to grasp the fundamentals of a business and have strong communication skills.
- Proven, hands-on experience of management reporting in a large and complex business.
- Ambitious and keen to add instant value across the division.
- Proven record of delivering against targets and process improvement.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to form relationships with key stakeholders.
