We are hiring Head of Finance ( Africa ) that will be responsible for all aspects of finance within the region; includes accurate and timely financial/statutory and management reporting, internal controls compliance, managing business financial planning cycles, insightful financial analysis, cash / investment management and overall business partnering decision support. Support operational management on financial, business analysis and contractual/commercial issues. Acts as a Business Partner to the MD and regional leadership team.

What you’ll do:
-
Effectively manage and lead the regional Finance team in the pursuit of being a “best in class” function driving efficiency and engagement throughout.

Act as a trusted senior advisor to the business, constructively probing to test decisions and gain a deep knowledge of the business. Liaising with external and internal auditors, customers, suppliers and advisors as and when required.

Providing revenue/cost/working capital forecasts to the Regional MD and Finance Director in the required format and to a timetable providing meaningful challenge and insight as required.

Lead and be accountable for planning and reporting of complex financial analysis including customer evaluation, investment decisions as well as commercial, contractual and legal issues.

Lead a team of business partners ensuring strong local support to regional leadership.

Responsible for leading the regional FP&A team to prepare accurate and timely financial forecasts and costs including month end reporting, robust assessment of financial risk and opportunities, budget processes and other ad hoc exercises.

Leadership over the regional financial control environment including statutory and tax filings ensuring strong compliance to Aggreko’s financial guidelines/procedures and robust finance operational controls whether undertaken by a third party or Aggreko staff, promoting continuous improvement in all areas.
You’ll have the following skills and experience:

Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience working within an international environment

Prior experience covering Finance for Africa market is essential

Experience in leading remote teams and management of complex internal and external relationships

Project leadership and strong stakeholder management experience including business partnering

Experience of full P&L and BS accountability with demonstratable delivery of results

Works well with ambiguity
-
Presenting financial informational clearly and succinctly, adapting language appropriate to audience (e.g. non finance).

Leading financial controls, compliance and governance experience

Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (Ideally Infor Cloudsuite), consolidations systems and data warehousing tools

Fluency in French & English is required.
