Job Description
The Data, Digital and Technology (DD&T) Leader will drive creative disruption through digital technologies and data analytics to elevate customer engagement and deliver better patient outcomes.
He/ She will implement the aligned GEM DD&T strategy, including change management and prioritization based on LOC business imperatives. The LOC DD&T leader will develop LOC capabilities aligned to GPD direction, including Digital Patient Journey and Outcomes, Next Generation and Customer Experience, and Insights-driven organisation. He/She is a member of LOC Leadership Team and GEM DD&T Council.
Key accountabilities
DD&T Roadmap, Funding and Delivery

  • Establish a LOC DD&T plan aligned to the GPD/GEM strategy, incl. identifying and curating LOC business imperatives that can be addressed through digital and analytics use cases, supported by technology and data
  • Drive delivery of DD&T plan, with focus on business value, leveraging the GEM and GDT organizational resources as appropriate
  • Steward LOC DD&T budget, with TCO perspective and optimizing for value (while driving adherence to standards)
  • Influences the shared product backlogs managed by GEM BU (eg EDB, CRM, NBA, OCE, Hive), balancing LOC needs and enterprise value
  • Build and manage a high-performing, fit-for-purpose DD&T team that is focused on execution and delivering value
  • Increase digital and analytics LOC literacy through targeted capability building and drive adoption of DD&T offerings
  • Ensure adherence to architecture standards (set by Architecture Council) and data standards (set by Global Data Council)


Insights & Advanced Analytics

  • Evidence generation through RWE analytics to inform brand strategy and enable Access conversations
  • Enhance Data-driven in-market and launch excellence capabilities
  • Leverage DD&T platform solutions to enhance LOC reporting and pricing solutions


Patient Digital Journey and Outcomes

  • Leverage connected digital patient ecosystems for in-market solutions in close collaboration with GEM, GPD and GDT teams
  • Ensure digital health solutions are localized and launched successfully and sustainably in the market, leveraging enterprise platforms
  • Build capability in the organization to maintain the digital health solutions after launch, from process, people and technology perspectives


Next Generation Customer Experience

  • Implement NGCE initiatives, including CRM, NBA and OCE, aligned with GPD/GEM NGSE guidance
  • Drive alignment and adoption within LOC by connecting and aligning with key stakeholders
  • Integrate omnichannel engagement plans in LOC, powered by advanced analytics insights with streamlined operations at scale


Innovation

  • Drive innovation, incentivizing data and digital proofs of concept (fail fast, learn faster)
  • Highlight and promote use cases


SKILLS and LEADERSHIP CAPABILITIES
Experience and Education

  • Bachelor's degree with minimum 15 years of relevant experience; Master's degree preferred
  • Mature leader with breadth of experience across commercial and technology accountabilities
  • Track record in leading cross-functional talent to deliver business-led digital initiatives


Critical Skills and Competencies

  • Deep understanding of LOC needs and technology environment, and experience in aligning business needs and technical capabilities
  • Understanding of the value of Digital Health solutions, Patient Solutions and Digital Patient Journey, NGCE and Insights Driven and the impact to on business value
  • Strong understanding of external business environment and industry trends
  • Highly skilled stakeholder management with history of successful people leadership across functions and domains
