- About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Customer Solutions Engineering (CSE) to lead and direct CSE operations across 16 countries in the Eastern Europe & Mediterranean (EEM) region. This key leadership role is focused on driving operative performance, developing the CSE team, and ensuring alignment with business objectives. As the Head of CSE, you will foster technical expertise within your team, ensuring a deep understanding of customer needs and delivering the best solutions in collaboration with our sales and delivery teams. This is a pivotal position that directly contributes to achieving engineering excellence and exceeding business targets.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and direct the CSE scope of work across the EEM region.
- Identify market and technology trends, driving necessary changes in solutions and operational methods.
- Develop and implement roadmaps for CSE development, ensuring alignment with business targets and engineering excellence.
- Represent CSE in high-priority customer meetings, influencing specifications and gaining insights into customer needs.
- Lead costing management, applying total costing principles to achieve Front Line target costing.
- Ensure compliance with engineering policies, local codes, and standards.
- Guarantee that all customer solutions prioritize safety.
- Represent the CSE function in KONE product standardization forums.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration across Front Line, Area, and Global teams.
- If relevant for specific legislation, act as the accountable authority for technical solutions.
- Manage CSE process performance and implement actions to improve efficiency.
- Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of Customer Solutions Engineering capabilities through the KONE Way framework.
- Own and drive the deployment and value realization of KONE Way processes and local initiatives.
- Provide insights on local technical requirements, market trends, and interfaces to SL and KTI engineering.
- Contribute to offering simplifications and manage product obsolescence as needed.
- Ensure the CSE team supports all KONE solutions and products with profitability and technical expertise.
