The SVP, Commercial Strategy and Execution, is an essential leadership role that charts the course for commercializing gaming products, setting portfolio go-to-market game strategy, opening new markets, and leading a large group of professional game strategists, and professional marketers and collaborates across the enterprise to deliver the best outcomes for our people, our customers and the business. 

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in strategic planning, understand the fundamentals of building commercial strategies, and can flawlessly translate strategies into effective action and results.  The SVP, Commercial Strategy and Execution will partner with Design & Development team members to design strategy plans and business cases that drive the business forward and put the company in a position to win in every market we play. This role will also lead a team to develop product positioning, messaging development, and scale to deliver results.   The role will sit on the Gaming Business Leadership Team, and deeply engage with enterprise stakeholders such as Investor Relations, Finance and Business Analytics, and Insights.  In addition, this role will also be a key leader in collaboration on enterprise-wide initiatives that cross business units and corporate strategy functions. 

Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership, Strategy Development, Commercial Planning & Execution, Business Growth Strategy, Enterprise Mindset

  • Develop long-term strategic commercial planning for all regulated gaming segments and lead flawless execution to translate strategic plans into action

  • Effectively partner with D&D, Commercial Team members, Sales, and Supply Chain to develop new hardware, future product development roadmaps, and growth strategies that impact both new product introduction and end-of-life commercial strategies  

  • Lead a team to drive game portfolio analysis around category segmentation, product life cycles, portfolio requirements, product performance, and key metrics that will aid in driving portfolio strategies and planning

  • Lead a team to develop market requirements, identify trends and opportunities, and assess the competitive environment to aid in the development of the game portfolio; monitored the competitive landscape and measured product performance to identify key areas of improvement

  • Oversee all commercial planning and results for the regulated gaming portfolio

  • Scale and build new business cases, including demand forecasting, pricing, and modeling in partnership with Finance and Business Analytics and Insights 

  • Collaborate closely with Aristocrat’s Commercial Strategy and Global Product Strategy organizations and game design studios to develop product strategies and ensure regulated gaming commercial strategy meets the needs of the market, future game development, and identify new commercial segments.

  • Effectively partner with sales, setting commercial strategy, customer engagement, and leading content development for key events

  • Manage MSP link profitability across the enterprise

  • Partner closely with the Marketing Team to bring strategies to life

  • Work with Business Analytics to develop a sustainable external product performance insights program, fleet optimization, long-term portfolio, and product planning

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum of 15 years of commercial experience including at least 8 years in a senior leadership capacity

  • Leadership experience across multiple functional areas within a global organization

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Strategy, Marketing, or a related field required

  • Excellent strategic thinking, strategic planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

  • In-depth knowledge of the product management process, including market dynamics, customer segments, distribution channels, and revenue management principles

  • Proficiency in analyzing data and market research to drive informed decision-making

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders

  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment

  • Ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance; ability to organize and manage multiple priorities

  • Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team in an effective manner

  • Must have strong communication skills, able to work independently, and be team-oriented 

  • Casino industry; slot gaming experience preferred

  • Knowledge of the Gaming industry is a strong plus, particularly slot products, but not required

  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English

  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% of the time

Travel Expectations

Pay Range

$371,528 - $689,981 per year

Our goal is to pay a market competitive salary focusing near the median of our pay ranges. However, final offers for all positions will be based on several factors such as experience level, education, skills, work location, and internal pay equity.
