Job Description
The Head of Ascend and Data Products, EMEA APAC plays a crucial role in shaping the overarching growth strategy for the region. This role is business focused, responsible for understanding the needs of customers across the key markets and formulating and implementing product strategies which will become the key growth engine for the region.
This role will be a member of the product leadership team and lead the regional productization of Credit Bureau Scores & Attributes, and our Analytics software. This is a strategic role and we’re looking for a senior leader with extensive experience and relevant skills to provide region-wide product portfolio leadership and long-term vision.
Interfacing at Senior levels (including the Regional EMAP Leadership team) this role includes ownership of the product strategy, the PnL success and innovation across a broad range of geographies in the region. There is a significant opportunity for cross-fertilization of ideas and innovation whilst defining the benchmarks for best practice across the individual Credit Bureaus within our region.
What you’ll be doing:
- Overall Product Management ownership for Credit Bureau scores, Attributes and Analytics Software at a regional level.
- Regional strategic road map creation & communication defining short, medium and long-term views
- Reporting to the Operations and EMAP Leadership teams on a regular basis.
- Driving PnL outcomes taking accountability for top line growth (Revenue) and bottom line (EBIT)
- Building the product road maps for the evolution of all relevant scores.
- Monitoring, enhancement and sunsetting of existing CB scores and attributes where necessary.
- Building go-to-market plans in collaboration with Market based Credit bureau teams (both local products and marketing leads) as well as the regional and global Software teams.
- Lead Business Case production in line with execution of the roadmap defining investment scale and Return on Investment, payback etc.
- Working closely with the Analytics team (who build the scores) to ensure requirements are met and that there is close interlock with the Market centric GTM activity.
- Help produce GTM documentation and tools to aid sales enablement in close collaboration with the Market teams.
- Creating an Innovation process which brings together the various Credit Bureau communities and facilitates the sharing of ideas in a cross-fertilization process.
Qualifications
What you’ll need to bring:
Experience
- 10 Years + of Product management in a relevant field e.g. Credit management, Analytics (data science) or Software.
- Played a key role in defining credit bureau go to market strategies from concept to scale.
- Winning with data strategies – have used data assets to create innovation and growth in Scores & Attributes.
- Leading and communicating strategic product road maps.
- Winning in the market through Product Management (has created and delivered significant growth agendas.)
- Reporting progress and strategies to CXO level.
- Matrix leadership experience across complex organizational structure at a senior level
- Agile Product development and Product Life-cycle experience.
- Commercial Product Management experience (Profit and Loss ownership.)
- Commercial and cost management understanding across complex platforms in multiple geographies.
Skills
- Stakeholder management at a very senior level (CXO & Market Managing Director level)
- Delivering Product portfolio change and knowledge of how to build accelerated product growth curves.
- A broad and deep knowledge and understanding of how credit bureau scores and attributes work.
- Ability to blend Scores, Attributes and Software into a coherent set of propositions.
- Product Management theory including product development, commercial acumen and go-to-market knowledge.
