Hardware Design-Digital Engineer
Job Description:
What You'll Be Doing:
- Design and implement high-reliability electronic systems, including PCBs, embedded systems, and power electronics.
- Lead and perform all aspects of circuit card design lifecycle activities, including requirements capture, schematic capture, component selection, signal integrity analysis, simulations, timing analysis and thermal analysis.
- Generate PCB layout constraint guidelines, routing instructions, creation of board stackup and oversee the routing, layout, fabrication, and assembly of complex designs.
- Creation of test plans, root cause analysis, and testing of electronic circuits and systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware-related issues during development and testing phases.
- Design circuit cards using FPGA, processor, and DDR memory components, as well as industry interfaces such as Ethernet, PCIe, I2C, USB, LVDS, and SERDES bus technologies.
What We Are Looking For:
- Work collaboratively with team members and independently on assigned tasks.
- Utilize schematic capture tools for the creation of circuit card designs, such as Siemens Mentor Graphics DxDesigner and/or Xpedition, Altium, Cadence Allegro, EAGLE, KiCAD, etc.
- Familiarity with Agile for Hardware Development, including planning, tracking, and managing hardware development projects in JIRA.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Hardware Verification and Validation of high-level and low-level requirements complying with DO-254 standards.
- Compliance with industry standards and regulations, including DO-254 and DO-160.
- Experience working with requirement management tools like IBM Doors, Jama.
Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:
$77,000.00 - $154,000.00
Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
