• Job Description:  Hand Lay Process Lead

  Reports to: Production Supervisor

  Job Summary

  Maintain efficient workflow to maximize productivity and quality of Hand Lay team while performing all Hand Lay processes for the manufacture of composite mill liner parts.

  Primary Duties

• Lead the Hand Lay team in the operations of all equipment and tools.
• Ensure adherence to the production plan.
• Provide technical guidance to team to adhere to specifications.
• Ensure all reporting is completed and submitted.
• Ensure quality of produced parts by performing inspections and addressing any nonconformance’s.
• Ensure all team members adhere to policies and procedures, document and report variances to Production Manager.
• Assume role of site responsibility on shifts when upper management is not on site.
• Complete required documentation.
• Perform housekeeping tasks required to maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Physical Activity Demands

• Standing/walking for majority of shift.
• Lifting to 50 pounds.
• Pulling, pushing, use of tools.
• Performing work in a hot environment.

• Requirements

• Mastery of Hand Lay process with 1 year minimum experience
• Ability to communicate using English
• Ability to read measurements
• Reliable and punctual attendance
• Available to work shifts.

• Experience

• One year experience working in an industrial environment.

• Education

• High School diploma or equivalent
