About the Role

The Guest Experience Host is responsible for the guest’s customer service experience while at our Outdoorsy Bayfield park. As the first friendly face the guests will see on the property, it is the Guest Experience Host’s goal to deliver an extraordinary check-in, check-out, and scheduling experience. This role asks for an upbeat and empathetic person that is excited to work with people and has a love for the outdoors. The goal of this role is to ensure brand standards of excellence, answer inquiries and make the guest’s administrative journey as seamless as possible.

This role will start as part-time (20-30 hrs/week) with the potential to convert to full-time if the need arises. The role will report to the General Manager

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for our guests and vendors
  • Be responsible for taking incoming phone calls, occasional outbound calls, and responding to emails or chats on a daily basis from guests who have questions or concerns about a reservation, statement or other concern
  • Assist with the creation and delegation of maintenance and housekeeping tickets (If applicable)
  • Verify unit availability to assist the scheduling vendor
  • Handle cash and work from a point of sale system (Clover)
  • Build and maintain business relationships and open lines of communication with other internal support teams

Qualifications

Required:

  • Build and maintain business relationships and open lines of communication with other internal support teams
  • Technical computer skills required on all forms of hardware - laptops, tablets and mobile devices
  • Professional in all forms of communications such as email, phone calls, video calls and texts
  • Ability to work well under pressure in an agile, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to change activity frequently and cope with interruptions
  • Highly responsive and reliable
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong customer service experience with the ability to empower, empathize and engage
  • Able to interact with guests, vendors and other associates in a professional manner at all times
  • Able to work nights, weekends and holidays as the business demands
  • Ability to lift 15-25 pounds
  • Able to be on their feet for 8 hours a day
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures

The expected pay range for this role is $18.00 - $20.00 DOE

The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in accordance with potentially applicable laws. The final agreed-upon compensation is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to: individual education, qualifications, prior work experience, and geographic work location. The total annual compensation package may consist of a base salary and bonus dependent upon position.
