The Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Specialist is a key member of the security team, responsible for monitoring and analyzing 24/7 global incidents that may impact the organization's people, assets, operations and brand. The specialist will provide triage, conduct thorough analyses, and manage mass communications to ensure timely and effective responses to incidents.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Continuously monitor global incidents through various intelligence and surveillance systems.
  • Perform initial assessment and triage of security threats and incidents, escalating as appropriate.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of complex security data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
  • Understanding of security technologies, including CCTV, access control, and incident management systems.
  • Understanding of global geopolitical trends and emerging threats.
  • Coordinate mass communication efforts during incidents, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and timeliness of information.
  • Maintain a detailed log of all incidents and responses for future reference and reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine incident response protocols.
  • Participate in emergency response planning and execution.
  • Provide support and guidance to less experienced team members.
  • Stay up to date of global security trends and advancements in security operations center technologies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a security operations center or similar environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate complex security data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in managing mass communications.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment, making quick and accurate decisions.
  • Familiarity with global security-related regulations and standards.
  • Proficient in the use of security technologies and surveillance systems.
  • Willingness to work on rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Studies, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications in security operations, crisis management, or emergency response are preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a global security operations center or emergency response team role.

US Salary Range

$70,000$105,000 USD

 

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
