We're looking for a Growth Marketing Manager to shape and execute Kabam’s growth strategy, with a primary emphasis on user acquisition, ad monetization, and strategic thinking. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high performing team in a role that will make a big impact in driving the success and expansion of our games.
In this role, you can expect to be responsible for:
- Strategy and Team Collaboration
- Collaborate with senior managers to develop and implement user acquisition strategies across diverse channels, aiming for diversification and optimized outcomes.
- Assist in formulating localized market strategies and tactics for major geos and regions, adapting approaches to match local nuances.
- Support in generating clear, detailed long- and short-term projections and effectively communicating to key stakeholders.
- Ad Monetization, ASO, Creative Strategy
- Contribute to the execution of ad monetization strategies, leveraging competitor analysis and network negotiations.
- Gain an understanding of the significance of App Store Optimization (ASO) on ranking and conversion metrics, and provide input for strategic approaches.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Creatives and Game team to support effective creative strategies that unlock growth potential.
- User Acquisition, Re-engagement, and Retargeting
- Assist in defining comprehensive strategies for new user acquisition and re-engagement/retargeting, tailored to different markets.
- Support in the implementation of retargeting campaigns to convert users who have expressed interest in our games.
- Process Improvement and Automation
- Participate in the development of a Growth Marketing Automation function, enhancing processes, productivity, and scalability.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to support the organization's growth.
- Explore incrementality measurement for paid campaigns to further justify impact to spend.
- Analysis, Reporting, and Budget Management
- Collaborate with the Data team to assist in building reporting tools, automate growth marketing operational processes, and estimate projections and LTVs.
- Utilize data-driven insights to inform decision-making and optimize growth strategies.
- Assist in managing and allocating budgets effectively across different marketing channels for maximum impact.
- Provide recommendations for improvement based on the results.
- AB test targeting and creatives to understand direct impact to Growth Marketing KPIs.
- Identify gaps in data and reporting to improve measurement and evaluation of Paid efforts.
- Partner with the data team to build a better pipeline for email and push KPIs and build narrative of how we evaluate impact to broader business.
- Cross-functional Collaboration
- Implement innovative strategies and campaigns to stay at the forefront of the industry, collaborating with stakeholders on implementing integrated marketing campaigns to drive results.
- Collaborate with game teams to understand product roadmaps, features, design, and economy, contributing insights for revenue growth.
- Partner with the Marketing team to assess the impact of product marketing, branding, and consumer insights on ROI and growth.
- Learn from the expertise of the Business Development team to gain insights into platform partnerships, IP partnerships, and regional expertise.
- Collaborate with the FP&A team to support growth marketing strategies and expectations using provided game metrics.
To be successful in this role, your background includes:
- 3+ years of experience in growth marketing, with a focus on mobile gaming being a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and data-driven mindset.
- Experience in hands on management of performance based UA channels.
- Effective collaboration and communication skills.
- Basic understanding of ad monetization, ASO, and creative strategy.
- Forward-thinking with the ability to adapt in a dynamic industry.
