About the role

The Graphic designer will work as part of a creative team sitting under the creative manager in marketing, the purpose of the role is to provide support to the marketing function, in addition to the wider business. Focusing on executing strategic digital graphic design and support for initiatives and campaigns across the organisation. You will be accountable for conceiving, developing, and editing creative marketing assets for all channels. You will help manage our suite of assets ensuring they are relevant, aligned with the needs of our customers and communicates our strategy in a unique, compelling, and differentiated way. You will need to have an appreciation of all elements of physical and digital design and a sharp eye that spots the little details

This position will be based in Porto with a mix of home office and office-based environment.

You will be part of our global creative team which works as an inhouse agency to support across departments, including Sales, Product Management, Customer Care, and Finance.

About the candidate

To fit the role, there are a range of skills required that are crucial to success:

  • Self-driven and Agile - The Creative Hub works in sprints, each designer must ensure that their tasks are started, followed up on and finished with the ability to operate independently within a small team.

  • Knowledge and strong foundation of the Adobe Creative Suit, must be working comfortably in Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign

  • Ability to use Figma or other design system tools

  • Master graphic technician: knowledge and solid understanding of typography, color, resolution, size accuracy, and print & digital production techniques

  • Thoughtful, empathetic and positive. A positive, can-do attitude and a desire to grow professionally while delivering high-quality designs

  • Basic understanding of design principles and trends

  • Ability to handle repetitive tasks with precision and attention to detail

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team member

  • Passion – to get team members on board with new ideas and keep them motivated to deliver digital design projects – alongside enjoying what you do yourself!

  • Project management and time management – to juggle the requirements of managing large strategies with everyday design work against strict deadlines.

  • Critical thinking and creativity – to conjure up new design approaches and ways of working.

  • Collaboration – to work with Digital designers in partner agencies, liaise with fellow leaders internally and communicate with external stakeholders.

  • Professional proficiency in English is must
