About the Role

We’re looking for a driven and innovative Graphic Designer to join the SaaS Academy Marketing Team. As a contractor working remotely from home, you will play a key role in creating and elevating our design initiatives. You will collaborate closely with the marketing team to ensure the design work is polished, engaging, and delivered on time. This role requires a combination of creative expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to efficiently manage multiple projects. Experience in designing thumbnails, landing pages, and print work is essential, along with a strong understanding of typography and layout.

Key Responsibilities & Success Metrics

  • Event and Department Collateral

    Support event teams with cyclical requests for client events (Intensives) and departmental requests (sales and programs). This includes creating digital slides (knowledge of Canva), posters, badges, cards, PDFs, and print materials. Timely delivery and quality standards are crucial, especially when working under tight timelines as events approach.

    Success Metrics: On-time delivery, quality standards, and clear communication under deadline pressure.

  • Long-Form PDFs

    Leverage extensive InDesign expertise to design engaging workbooks, worksheets, and program guides. Ensure consistency in design, especially in areas for copy and instructions, aligning with SaaS Academy’s teaching style. Create editorial-style PDFs that blend color, imagery, and text effectively.

    Success Metrics: Visually appealing, consistent designs with effective layouts.

  • Landing Pages

    Design and create landing pages in HubSpot, ensuring all graphics are aligned with SaaS Academy's branding and messaging.

    Success Metrics: Consistency with brand guidelines and the effectiveness of landing page conversions.

  • Ad & Website Graphics

    Assist in creating graphics for digital ads and internal website updates, contributing to enhanced user experience and engagement.

    Success Metrics: Engagement rates, feedback from internal stakeholders.

  • Blog Imagery & Social Media Content

    Shape the visual identity of SaaS Academy across blog and social media platforms. Create engaging blog imagery that encapsulates the essence of each post, and design social media graphics that drive engagement.

    Success Metrics: Increased click-through rates (CTR), successful A/B testing, and overall engagement.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Required
    • 3–5 years of professional graphic design experience, with strong proficiency in typography and an obsessive eye for detail.
    • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), HubSpot, and Figma.
    • Demonstrated experience in both print and digital design formats.
    • Proven experience in social media content creation.
    • Experience working in an Agile environment and managing multiple projects with strict deadlines.
    • Strong communication skills, with an ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Preferred
    • Ability to follow established brand guidelines while adding innovative elements.
    • Expertise in creative asset management and design systems.
    • Strong project management skills with an ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
    • Ability to assess design performance through metrics such as CTR, engagement, and A/B testing results.
    • Experience in the SaaS space.
