Job Summary: 

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Graphic Design Intern to join our creative team. In this role, you’ll collaborate with designers, marketers, and project leads to produce visually impactful designs for marketing campaigns, social media, product launches, and other projects. This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience, grow your design skillset, and contribute to meaningful projects in a fast-paced environment. 

To be considered, you must be able to commit to a 10-week hybrid internship and work 40 hours per week during our summer program. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Assist in designing digital and print assets, including social media graphics, email templates, presentations, infographics, and marketing collateral. 

• Support branding initiatives by creating graphics that align with Apex’s visual identity and style guides. 

• Build mockups and visual concepts for product launches, campaigns, or new creative projects. 

• Assist in conceptualizing, scripting, and creating video content for various campaigns, including product promotions, social media, and brand storytelling. 

• Optimize videos for different platforms, ensuring the right format, size, and resolution. 

• Prepare finalized designs and exports for internal or external production (e.g., for print or web use). 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize creative solutions based on project needs. 

Education and Experience: 

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Film Production, Visual Arts, or a related field. 

• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite & Figma, Canva & Final Cut Pro is a plus. 

• Senior standing, May 2026 graduate 

• A portfolio showcasing creative design work (required)

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to express complex ideas clearly and effectively. 

• Strong organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment. 

• General interest in Fintech.  

Work Environment: 

• This internship operates in an office environment. 

• This internship operates on a hybrid schedule in Portland. OR, Austin, TX, Chicago, IL, Dallas, TX, or New York, NY.

Salary: 

• $25 per hour.
