This role is primarily remote with travel to and from meetings as determined by Foundation leadership
Major Responsibilities:
Post-Award Oversight:
- Manage post-award activities, including fund monitoring, budget reconciliation, and reporting to ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and institutional regulations.
- Collaborate with department, program implementation, and finance teams to review and approve expenditures, cost transfers, and re-budgeting requests.
- Oversee overall programmatic compliance by monitoring adherence to grant deliverables, performance metrics, and reporting requirements.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Interpret and apply Uniform Guidance and other federal regulations to ensure all grants adhere to compliance standards.
- Conduct periodic quality checks on grant-funded programs to identify and resolve compliance issues.
Reporting and Communication:
- Prepare and present financial and programmatic reports to funding agencies, internal stakeholders, and auditors as required.
- Serve as the primary liaison for post-award grant audits and assist in coordinating responses to audit findings.
Collaboration and Policy Development:
- Partner with pre-award staff, department leaders, and finance team to ensure seamless handoff and integration of grant management processes.
- Assist in developing, updating, and administering organizational policies related to post-award grants management, such as cost-sharing, effort certification, and allowable costs.
- Support team in strategic planning and execution of grants strategy.
System Improvements and Standardization:
- Lead efforts to implement and enhance systems and tools for grant tracking, reporting, and effort certification.
- Advocate for standardized practices across departments to improve efficiency and consistency in post-award management.
Financial Management:
- Monitor grant budgets to ensure alignment with funding requirements and organizational objectives.
- Assist in developing operating budgets for grant-related activities and control expenditures within approved limits.
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:
- None required.
Education Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Public Administration, or a related field preferred. Bachelor’s degree in another area of study with significant relevant experience may be also be considered.
Experience Required:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in grants management, with a focus on post-award administration. Experience within research, academia, or healthcare institutions is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
- Broad knowledge of post-award grants management processes, compliance requirements, and Uniform Guidance.
- Demonstrated proficiency in budget development, financial reporting, and managing grant-funded projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and organizational levels.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with grants management software.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail in financial and administrative oversight.
- Familiarity with Workday, including basic navigation and data entry and management is a plus.

Pay Range
$40.30 - $60.45
