We are looking for an energetic and driven Strategic Engagement Manager to join our team as a Go To Market Specialist for our Houston and Dallas Branches to support company and customer growth. 

A Day in the Life:

  • Engage with Long View Account Managers and with customers to match their business requirements with Microsoft solutions and licensing options, focusing on the added value during the sales, deployment, and adoption of Microsoft technologies.
  • Work closely with sales team members, including Licensing, Architects and Account Executives to drive Microsoft Cloud licensing programs and related product sales.
  • Support clients across other software and SaaS solutions to create software catalogue rationalization to migrate to the Microsoft product set.
  • Provide expertise, thought leadership on software road-map changes to clients. Assist clients with understanding and developing their strategies for Software Asset Management and Software Lifecycle Management.
  • Provide consultation and guidance to customers to identify the most suitable licensing programs and contract solutions.
  • Proactive sales efforts with a “customer-first” approach
  • Maintain CRM, dashboards and Microsoft Partner Connect and assist with reporting of SMB-SMC funnel in a collaborative fashion to Microsoft.
  • Expand knowledge through sales certifications and sales training like Microsoft Licensing Ready.
  • Maintain and grow Microsoft relationships, attend appropriate conferences.
  • Providing training and support to the local sales team on licensing programs and industry changes.

What You Bring:

  • 5+ years of Microsoft licensing experience, focusing on supporting licensing solutions.
  • Experience working with sales representatives to support new clients in their Software Asset Management and licensing journey.
  • Experience working with licensing partners and ensuring licensing clients are properly supported and engaged.
  • Experience with introducing new licensing and or other contract services to enhance value 

What Makes You Extra Awesome:

  • Completion of Get Microsoft Licensing Ready Master Certification
  • Expertise in Software Asset Management or IT Asset Management
  • FinOps or IAITAM Certified
