Position Overview
A revolution cannot be done alone, and we need the best and brightest talent to continue our growth into the new modern workplace. We are looking for a Global Treasury Associate to further support our Treasury team in this journey. Atlas has local entities (bank accounts and relationships) in 160 countries, and it is therefore a truly global business.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring daily the global cash management, positioning, and cash flow forecasting activities
- Assisting on the global, local banking and payment service provider relationships
- Executing FX and hedging transactions taking into consideration the global multicurrency exposure
- Negotiating FX rates, fees, and financial service agreements
- Supporting the implementation of cash concentration, physical and notional pooling structures creating efficiency within the overall global bank account framework
- Facilitating the Implementation of our new cash management tool connected with the SWIFT network
- Partnering with the A/P, A/R and payroll teams on process improvements and automation
- Analyzing and responding to accounting, controlling, audit and other internal queries on a timely manner
- Ad hoc Treasury projects as required
About You
- You have a bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration or Accounting
- You have at least 5 years of experience with Treasury at a scaleup company or FinTech
- You have a good understanding of banking systems and international business involving multi-currency transactions
- You are familiar with the requirements and complexities of global payments (ACH, SEPA, SWIFT, API connectivity, banking platforms, TMS, etc.)
- You have the ability to prioritize, organize and effectively manage time with little direction and oversight to meet deadlines
- You have excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
- You have strong MS Office and Excel knowledge
- You are fluent in English and Spanish (other Asian or European language is a plus)
