Behind the title
As our new Strategy Project Lead you will work closely with one of our therapy areas to ensure that we pursue the most impactful Digital Health solutions that will create meaningful impact for patients and HCPs aligned with our commercial strategies. As maternity cover, the position is time-limited but with the possibility to prolong.
More specifically you will:

  • Lead Digital Health strategy development in close collaboration with brand and clinical development teams in a specific therapy area
  • Lead portfolio strategy discussions and support in ongoing portfolio prioritisation processes within the therapy area
  • Help implement these strategic decisions to make them a reality for Novo Nordisk, patients, and healthcare teams
  • Build a strong network with global, regional, and local stakeholders to facilitate project decisions, challenge and explore potential solutions, and ensure a strong commitment from stakeholders
  • Communicate the project strategy and tactics in a compelling and inspirational way to all levels in the organisation, including senior management


To succeed in this role, you will develop strong relationships and secure engagement with key stakeholders, internally and externally. Proactive and close collaboration across the organisation is a key success factor for this role!
Do you have what it takes?
We have no formal educational requirements, but applicants would typically have a business education or scientific/innovation background combined with 8+ years of work experience e.g. working with strategy and innovation work.
Additionally, we expect the ideal candidate to have:

  • Proven history of successfully driving projects end-to-end, from early ideas to realised benefits
  • Strategic mindset and experience developing commercial strategies in complex, global organisations
  • Strong people skills and are motivated by driving strategy development and change that involves stakeholders at all organisational levels
  • High level of drive, proactivity, and persistence, and you are result-oriented
  • Strong communication skills including the ability to communicate complex subjects in an easy and understandable way


On a personal level, you are recognised as a senior project manager, who sets direction for high performing and engaged project teams and your personal qualities define you as an initiative-taker and a great collaborator that always has a positive attitude. You never lose focus of priorities, despite changing demands or tight deadlines. Furthermore, you are analytical, structured, and ambitious, and enjoy being challenged.

In the role, you will report to the Director of Commercial Digital Strategy & Programme Management. The Commercial Digital Strategy & Programme Management team is part of the CVP area Commercial Digital, Data & IT.
You will be part of a team of highly skilled and passionate people working with Strategy and Incubation activities as well as a broader area with a diverse range of capabilities within Digital Health and commercial digital solutions.
