Job Description

Contract 15-Months

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Global Sourcing Assistant to join our team in Montréal. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who is eager to learn and grow in a global sourcing and procurement environment.

In this role, you’ll support the day-to-day activities of our sourcing team and help ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

What you’ll do:

• Help maintain strong relationships with our international suppliers

• Assist with gathering procurement needs from different departments

• Provide support in preparing purchase orders, contracts, and other sourcing documents

• Help research new suppliers and learn how to assess their capabilities

• Support the team in tracking supplier performance and updating internal databases

• Contribute to preparing reports and presentations related to sourcing activities

• Collaborate with logistics to help ensure timely delivery of goods

• Learn about trade compliance and help ensure we’re following all guidelines

• Take part in cost-saving and process improvement initiatives

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

• 1-3 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word

• Strong communication skills, both in English and French 

• Good attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks

• Basic understanding of supply chain principles and sourcing practices

• Ability to work independently and take initiative

• Experience with ERP systems is a plus

• Willing to occasionally travel for supplier meetings or conferences
