Job Description:
Work Hours: 2:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. CDT, Thursday - Monday
The Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Operator role is part of a 24/7 security and intelligence team that evaluates and reports on hazards and threats to the company including but not limited to natural disasters, terror attacks, civil unrest, workplace violence, facility intrusion and others. The ideal candidate for this role will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Responsible for dispatching, access control, alarm and surveillance system monitoring; reviewing threat reports and assisting with security operations and law enforcement requests. Schedule may vary based on operational needs.
Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.
What You'll Do

  • Dispatches Security Officers by radio and records security activities and site emergencies; monitors access control, alarm, and surveillance systems
  • Communicates incidents to employees and executive leadership, using phone, email, and emergency mass notification tools
  • Monitors intelligence feeds/alerts for hazards that may impact Company offices and coworkers globally
  • Reviews threatening contact reports and refers cases for response by security, HR, and law enforcement partner
  • Supports general security and law enforcement requests and inquiries


Qualifications You'll Need
The Basics

  • Associates degree Security and Intelligence, Business Administration and Management, Communications, Finance
    Information Technology
  • 2+ years of experience Law enforcement, Military, Corporate Security, Intelligence, Business, Emergency Management or related
  • In lieu of degree, 4+ years of experience in Law Enforcement, Military, Corporate Security, Intelligence, Business, Emergency Management.

Compensation:
The base pay for this position generally ranges between $26.63 to $37.29. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
