Job Description
The Global Expense & Card Program Associate will deliver administrative and operational support to the Global Expense & Card Program Team.
This role will support the program leads to enhance and optimize processes and administer day-to-day card reconciliation, reporting, analytics, & operations. The ideal candidate demonstrates proactivity, critical thinking, a detail-oriented mindset, analytical acumen, and a strong sense of collaboration.
- Support day-to-day Card Program administration in North America including issuing new cards, managing credit limits, processing card terminations, monitoring delinquencies, and addressing user inquiries.
- Perform on-going reporting and review of spend to identify trends and compliance with policies, procedures, and appropriate buying channels.
- Maintain comprehensive reporting mechanisms to track card & expense type usage, spend, and key insights.
- Create custom financial reports for key stakeholders including Finance Business Partners & Senior Leaders to support monitoring spend and budget forecasting.
- Partner with finance colleagues to provide reporting of actual results against budget, prior forecasts, and historical spend.
- Identify, analyze, and interpret data trends and patterns and prepare on-going reports and data visualizations to support decision-making and process improvements.
- Support SOX Testing requests, internal key control reporting, and ad hoc Internal Audit Team requests.
- Guide employees with inquiries related to their corporate cards, conduct card application review, and provide guidance and support to employees on credit card usage, policies, and procedures.
- Assist in development of SOPs, job aides, training materials, and conduct live user trainings to support card program operations and reconciliation process to enhance compliance to policy.
- Partner closely with other members of the Corporate Services team to deliver a high standard of customer service.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Finance, Tax, Payroll, and Accounting.
- Support Global Expense & Card Program Team projects and propose opportunities for process improvements.
- 3 years of experience in corporate setting related to accounting, finance, accounts payable, card program, expense, or data analytics
- Base knowledge of Concur Expense tool
- Experience managing PowerBi dashboards
- Pharmaceutical experience (a strong plus but not mandatory)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large amounts of data with an ability to create ad hoc reports or analytics independently.
- Strong Excel technical skills including ability to create of pivot tables, graphs & tables, calculations and data sorting
- Analytics and reporting capabilities, experience working in PowerBi
- Demonstrate problem solving and critical thinking skills, and ability to compile and assess data to draw conclusions & provide recommendations
- Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to measure and analyze trends and patterns, and leverage results to determine actionable solutions
- Ability to navigate and be successful in a fast-paced, time-sensitive, and cross-functional work environment
