Could you be the backbone for our global Demand Planning and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes? The Global Demand Planning & IBP Operations Leader requires strong project and program management skills to own, develop and deploy our operational toolkit, as well as strong supply chain and stakeholder management experience to be able to coach, guide, educate and influence others to ensure it's used to best effect. We're supporting a business undergoing phenomenal growth!

This position reports to the Snr Director, Demand Planning and is part of the Global IBP and Demand Planning Team. It is located in Amersham, UK and will be an on-site role.   

What you will do:

  • Lead the IBP and Demand Planning Operations team, with responsibility for maintenance and development of demand planning tools, data and analytics and related management of cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Demand Planning process ownership and stewardship: scoping, building and implementing process as well as design and implementation of our visual management tools to govern it.
  • Own the development of KPIs to measure and manage the effectiveness & performance of Demand planning.
  • Support our IBP implementation and change management roadmap
  • Promotes collaboration between internal and external resources. Seek and support opportunities to enhance our collaboration processes with customers and benchmarking of industry bodies and peers
  • Act as central Demand Planning subject matter expert to support deployment of our process: providing consulting, coaching and technical support to our team and their stakeholders across the business to ensure that we are consistently applying best practice
  • Lead and develop a cohesive, high-functioning and engaged Operations team located in different geographies

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's degree. Further degree and/or MBA an advantage
  • 10 years+ of work experience in an operations and/or supply chain environment. Strong understanding of supply chain planning required. Experience working within, or of implementation of, IBP / S&OP required.
  • 5+ years’ people leadership experience within an international, matrix organisation.  
  • Project / programme management experience and strong working knowledge of project management tools. Familiarity with Change management approaches and processes.
  • You are resilient, credible, with a strong working knowledge of IBP / S&OP and supply chain planning, and strong commercial acumen. Comfortable working with uncertainty and in a fast-changing environment and able to get work done through others. You actively embrace change and can bring others with you on the journey.
  • Bachelor's degree plus 10 years+ of work experience in an operations and/or supply chain environment. Supply chain planning or IBP / S&OP experience required.
  • Experience of Project or programme management and ability to work effectively with relevant tools and approaches

Travel Requirements:

  • Ability to travel globally as required up to 25%

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Experience working in, life sciences or pharmaceutical industries
