As the Global Commercial Excellence Manager, Specialty Products, you will provide analysis and lead the optimization of sales operations, business/sales strategy, and corporate commercial excellence guidance. You will work with business leadership, commercial teams, and across support teams to achieve desired outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for activation, implementation and optimization of commercial processes

  • Development, execution and interpretation of CRM and Pipeline metrics

  • Drive adoption of processes and tools, measure and demonstrate progress

  • Drive CRM pipeline management and accountability with commercial team through defined cadence

  • Provide recommendations on metrics and processes to encourage action and drive business performance to objectives

  • Serve as CRM expert in the business: functionality, data, processes, and best practices

  • Develop and deliver training content for usage and enhancements of CRM and business selling process; training can occur via multiple modalities, including one on one consultations

  • Lead upcoming implementation of new CRM ensuring specific business needs are considered and addressed

  • Work with IT on enhancements to CRM supporting business objectives

  • Partner with marketing to develop effective lead process, integrate in CRM and identify metrics to measure results and drive sales accountability

  • Manage Skill Director process with the commercial team: training, execution, reporting and compliance

  • Actively participate in PPG Commercial Excellence leaders group, influence direction and advocate for Specialty Products

  • Maintain “best in class” Commercial Excellence standards in Specialty Products business

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in business administration, or related, or equivalent combination of education, training, and direct experience.

  • 7 years business experience in function related to selling organizations and processes

  • CRM knowledge and experience: strategy, execution, functionality, data and reporting; Salesforce experience is ideal.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and across all levels of an organization

  • Data analysis and summarization skills; accomplished in excel (can perform complex functions) , Power BI dashboards, or similar tools.

  • Effective and Persuasive communication skills

  • Continuous improvement mindset, change champion
